I didn't feel it was hard to get into this college. Maybe if you have a 2.5 or below it might be difficult. I would also recommend you just enter into college undeclared unless you know the major you want and feel you will love it even after college. I'm a film major and have loved making projects for years... but after coming to MSU I not only wanna switch but I don't wanna be a film major either.

I had to get a Portfolio review to enter the BFA in Animation/Illustration. I was transferring as a Junior, and my portfolio has many 3d pieces in it. Junior year is when students at Montclair start taking 3d courses. They have no class or anything for Animation/Illustration students to create a portfolio, yet require one to get in.
